Enid Blyton - Timeless Classics for Children

 Enid Blyton was an English children's writer whose books have been among the world's best-sellers since the 1930s.   With over 700 titles published, Enid Blyton’s stories remain timeless classics, liked by children throughout the world. She has written a variety of books and is best remembered today for her Noddy, Famous Five, Secret Seven, and Malory Towers.

Her first book, Child Whispers, a 24-page collection of poems, was published in 1922. Adventures of the Wishing-Chair (1937) and The Enchanted Wood (1939) made her a popular author.

Famous Five Series


The Famous Five is a series of children's adventure novels and short stories. The first book, Five on a Treasure Island, was published in 1942. The novels feature the adventures of a group of young children – Julian, Dick, Anne and Georgina (George) – and their dog Timmy.
There are 21 books in the series. Blyton also wrote a number of short stories featuring the characters, which were collected together in 1995 as Five Have a Puzzling Time, and Other Stories



Secret Seven Series


The Secret Seven or Secret Seven Society is a fictional group of child detectives created by Enid Blyton and based on the publisher’s children. A good series for kids to explore. There are 16 titles in the series,
